Mumbai, July, 21 (PW News): Punj Lloyd, a major engineering, procurement and conglomerate bagged a Rs210 crore civil contract from NTPC Ltd for a thermal power project. The company will be undertaking the balance offloaded work for the power plant in Bongaigaon district of lower Assam. The scope of the work entails underground civil work, piling and foundations for over ground civil, structural and architectural work for the buildings such as main plant, air washer, ESP control and service, mill bunker and conveyor galleries. The company will further overlook the construction of the administration building and auditorium, O&M workshop and the CHP office-cum-workshop in the offsite area.
